© LOGIC INCORPORATED 2013

LOGIC was retained by the City of Tacoma to lead an urban design effort for the rapidly developing Tacoma Dome area. Working with TVA Architects of Portland, the area plan was updated to incorporate impact of new transit stations, Tacoma Dome expansion, and the development of the planned LeMay Museum. This urban design plan incorporates access, circulation, and parking improvements, pedestrian circulation, open space amenities and plazas, identification of entry portals for this Gateway district, and connections to the Foss Waterway. The plan identifies development opportunities incorporating mixed uses with aesthetic designs that provide mid-block plazas, views, and diverse activities for residents and visitors.
