LOGIC prepared a Strategic Master Plan for the Children’s Museum of Tacoma, a guide for expanding and relocating this successful, small institution. This planning process involved board, staff, and a variety of selected stakeholders in an assessment of museum performance and public service. The market of users was reevaluated in light of changes in family needs and educational requirements, highlighting a special niche in the region. Special alliances were recommended for acquisition of resources and enrichment of programs. This basic information resulted in a description of needs and opportunities that gave birth to a new vision and staff-developed mission statement for service.
