In support of Spokane architect MMEC, LOGIC prepared the initial business plan for a new air museum to be built in Spokane. The AF&AM is the proposed expansion and relocation of the former aviation heritage center at Fairchild AFB to a new airport property. The business plan assessed the current resources of the institution, its changing mission, and the challenges and opportunities relative to a new educational institution. In the study, LOGIC evaluated the need for AF&AM and positioning within its market. The relocation and expansion issues, costs, and development schedule were addressed, including comments on selecting phases for construction. LOGIC prepared a program of spaces and uses from which to design the new museum, incorporating zones of public use, interpretation, research, and special events. This planning work has supported the architect in development of a unique scheme for integrating the newly named Honor Point museum as a joint venture with the airport authority in a heritage center at historic Felts Field.
